Having been around for 15 years and counting, Roblox is showing no signs of slowing down. If you’re looking to take your gameplay with friends to the next level, sound effects and voice changers are the perfect addition to your game. In this video, we’ll be showing you how to set up Voicemod with Discord, one of the most popular voice chat programs for gamers.
  1. First, you’ll want to make sure your Voicemod application is up and running in the background. You’ll need to do this whenever you want to use Voicemod with other programs.
  2. Next, fire up Discord, and let’s get you set up.
  3. In the bottom-left corner, you’ll find a cog wheel labeled “User Settings”. Click on it. In the new window, navigate to “Voice & Video” under the App Settings category.
  4. At the top of the screen, click on the Input Device drop-down menu and select “Microphone (Voicemod Virtual Audio Device)” from the list of options. Then, click on the Output Device drop-down menu and select your headphones or speakers.
  5. To get the best results with your new voice, disable “Automatically determine input sensitivity” and use the slider to manually configure it. Use Discord’s Mic Test option to find the perfect fit.
  6. There are a few other settings that will help enhance your experience. Scroll down to the “Advanced” section and disable the following options: Noise Suppression; Echo Cancellation; Noise Reduction; Automatic Gain Control; the Attenuation slider; When I Speak; and, When Others Speak. Finally, set your audio subsystem settings to the “standard” option.

How to enable Roblox voice chat?

To enable voice chat in Roblox you should follow these steps:

  1. First of all, you need to verify your identity in the Account Information section. Even if you’re required to add your birth date at the very first step of Roblox registration process, you are now required to verify your identity. Take your mobile phone and your ID card because you will need to scan a QR code, wait in the verification queue, and upload a picture of your ID. Only by completing this step, you will be able to see the Voice chat option.
  2. Once you’ve verified your identity, go to Roblox Settings option and select Privacy Settings and enable Voice Chat.
  3. Now you are done, you just need to go to a Roblox game and test the voice chat option with Voicemod on. Enjoy!
